Application for Individual Mortgage Loan


Important Notes


  1. A maximum of 3 applicants in a single application (including the Borrower, Mortgagor and Guarantor) will be supported while application by corporation will not be supported.
  2. For application with more than 3 applicants or application by corporation, please click here to make an appointment or visit any of our outlets or call our customer service hotline.
  3. For application with more than one applicant, the applicant who fills in and submits the application shall confirm that the consent and authorization from other applicants for making the application and use of their personal information and documents for the purpose of processing the application has been obtained.
  4. For application with more than one applicant, Bank of Communication (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) will use the e-mail address and mobile phone number of the 1st applicant as the primary contact to receive the emails and SMS related to this mortgage application.
  5. If you cannot finish the application, you may save it. You can retrieve your application and check application status with the 1st applicant’s HKID number (last 4 characters), e-mail address, mobile phone number, SMS one-time password and reference number (if applicable) sent to you. These information should be properly kept in order to protect the personal data of the applicant(s).
  6. Our Customer Service Manager will contact the applicant(s). If our Customer Service Manager is unable to reach the applicant(s) by phone, the Bank will not proceed the application.
  7. Applicant(s) are required to provide information in the fields with* . If relevant information is not provided, the Bank may not be able to process the mortgage application. For those mortgage applications that have been created but did not submitted successfully, the information in the application form and the uploaded documents will be automatically destroyed 30 days after the application creation date.
  8. The Bank reserves the absolute right to accept or decline any application for credit facilities and mortgage, and is not obliged to give any reason for declining any application. The Bank reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the products, services and offers and to amend relevant terms at its sole discretion.
  9. The credit facilities and mortgage shall be subject to the terms and conditions listed on the facility letter and mortgage documents as executed between the loan applicants and the Bank.
  10. Applicant(s) should read the relevant Terms and Conditions before submitting the mortgage application.
  11. The personal data provided will not be used to update the personal information maintained at the Bank.
  12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Bank shall be final.
  13. In case of any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of these important notes, the Chinese version shall prevail.
