Section Head, Financial Accounting

Duties

• Lead a Team to monitor and control the expense payments, daily general ledger and month-end closing.
• Get involved in tax schedules and financial reports including IFRS statements; ensure report accuracy and timely submission to Head Office   
• Resolve financial accounting issues for new products or systems including changeover, implement new accounting standards and policies
• Maintain strong financial control environment and streamline processes through review of workflow and procedures, as well as prepare and update accounting procedures and manuals

Requirements

• Degree holder or above in Accounting or related disciplines, with full membership of HKICPA or equivalent qualifications
• Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in financial industry, in which at least 3 years at managerial level, and comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards and other regulatory requirements

Manager, Financial Analysis

Duties

• Carry out performance evaluation in products and business lines; perform analytical and statistical reports to senior management and Head Office
• Get involved in forecast and simulations; provide recommendation on performance evaluation and financial results
• Prepare business lines budgets and perform regular review; participate in system implementation and other ad hoc assignment

Requirements

• Degree holder or above in Accounting or related disciplines, with full membership of HKICPA or equivalent qualifications
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience gained from the banking industry, with good exposure in fund transfer pricing and cost allocation modules
• Well versed knowledge in banking products, with experience in Oracle and SQL application systems will be an advantage

Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Manager, Financial Analysis

Manager, Financial Management

Duties

• Perform analytical and statistical reports on bank-wide basis to senior management and Head Office as well as prepare MIS reports for treasury products
• Prepare bank-wide budget and perform regular review, get involved in financial strategic planning and recommendation on bank performance
• Implement new accounting standards and polices and ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and relevant standards, guidelines, procedures and local regulatory requirements
• Prepare and update accounting polices and manuals as well as support ad hoc assignments

Requirements

• Degree holder or above in Accounting or related disciplines, with full membership of HKICPA or equivalent qualifications
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience gained form the banking industry, with good knowledge in accounting standards and local banking practice

Deputy Manager, Financial Accounting

Duties

• Assist in monitoring and controlling the expense payments, daily general ledger and month-end closing.
• Prepare tax schedules and financial reports including IFRS statements and subsidiaries reporting; ensure report accuracy and timely submission to Head Office   
• Resolve financial accounting issues for new products or systems including changeover, implement new accounting standards and policies
• Participate in streamline processes through review of workflow and procedures, as well as prepare and update accounting procedures and manuals

Requirements

• Degree holder or above in Accounting or related disciplines, with full membership of HKICPA or equivalent qualifications is preferable
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in financial industry, with comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards and other regulatory requirements

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager, Financial Accounting

Asset and Liability Management Manager

Duties

• Assist in overseeing the bank's interest rate and liquidity risk, as well as establishing respective risk management policies, procedures and system maintenances
• Monitoring of compliance with the established control measures and conducting respective stress tests
• Assist in reviewing the bank's balance sheet management and funding strategies
• Preparing regular MIS reports for ALCO, Risk Committee and other Senior Management Committees

Requirements

• Degree holder or above in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines, with CFA or FRM is preferable
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience of asset and liability management in banking sector and able to handle the HKMA's relevant SPM requirements
• Familiar with the PC based application programming (Excel, VBA or SQL), and experience in Oracle Financial Services Applications is an advantage

Manager, Project (Settlement Department)

Duties

• Responsible for the project implementation and coordination relating to Fiscal Agent's duties of bonds and system enhancement for treasury products
• Assist in monitoring the project progress, and advise the team on risk management and related control issues

Requirements

• Degree holder or above, with minimum 5 years' relevant experience in the banking industry with project management experience is an asset
• Strong analytical mind with good communication and problem solving skills

Officer, Capital Markets Settlement

Duties

• Responsible for carrying out the processing activities of bonds and structured / derivative transactions
• Process settlement payments and receipts, as well as perform daily summary reports

Requirements

• F.7 or above, with minimum 2 years' relevant experience in banking industry
• Sound knowledge in SWIFTAlliance, RTGS, CMU, Euclid, Creation Online System and PC skills including MS Word, MS Excel and Chinese Word Processing
