It has come to our attention that recently some mobile apps may be able to read the cardholder's name stored in the contactless credit card. To address the concerns of the customers and to protect their customer data privacy, Bank of Communications Co., Ltd. Hong Kong Branch ("Bank") will arrange card replacement for the existing cardholders of Bank of Communications Visa payWave Platinum Credit Card ("Affected Cardholders"). During the period from 26 October 2015 to 16 November 2015, we will mail non-contactless Platinum Credit Cards to the correspondence addresses of Affected Cardholders. We will invite Affected Cardholders to apply for the new card once it is available.

A computer user, when logging on his/her internet banking account, was lured into inputting additional personal information but it was found later that such computer had been infected with a virus. A computer user, when logging on his/her internet banking account, was lured into inputting additional personal information but it was found later that such computer had been infected with a virus.
